adapcctl Exiting with Status: 204

If mistakenly application Services bounced with root user. Then application will not start from oracle user and will throw this error:

adapcctl Exiting with Status: 204

Issue is httpd.pid file ownership changed to root and oracle cannot access it.

To resolve the issue:

stop the application services using adstpall.sh script.

change ownership to oracle ideally the whole folder.

Start the services using adstrtall.sh script.
